Wow, isn’t this a throwback! Grade 11 history gave me such great memories. I’m really glad that most of us from last year came back this year! Hopefully grade 12 will be as fun as, or even better than, last year. I still can’t believe I blinked in that picture though! Hopefully, I won’t blink in the upcoming photos. I’m sure this time around, we will draw an even bigger heart to represent the class!
Last years history class ended up being my favourite class from grade 11, I was super sceptical of taking another history course because of my lack of interest in the ones from previous years however, this post reminded me of why I needed up loving it so much. I really enjoyed how interactive this class was as the participation helped me learn and remember key facts about history. The drawings of big ideas were also such a fun part of history class and I’m very exited to continue to learn from Ms. G. Although I learned so much important details about so many different empires, I would have to say that learning about ancient Egypt may have be one of the most memorable for me due to the interesting story of Pharaoh Hatshepsut, who I often mention, even this day. These pictures remind me of how unlike all the other history classes I have taken, while in Ms. G’s classroom, there is never a dull moment.
