Multitasking

I was not multitasking when I saw this program on the PBS science program called Nova Science Now about a month ago about teenagers who claim that they are able to focus when needed despite normally being major multitaskers.

Read this article, particularly the part about the work of Clifford Nass and Eyal Ophir at Stanford University. It may surprise you. It may also explain why your teacher is always telling you to focus on one thing at a time. It turns out it’s a valuable skill even in this infomated world.
